The London Schools’ Gold Club is an annual scheme which celebrates and shares exceptional practice in London’s primary and secondary schools. Gold Club members have ‘bucked the trend’ by achieving exceptional outcomes for their learners, whatever the circumstances. With this in mind, the Mayor of London has once again acknowledged Rosedale College ‘as a leader in challenging low aspiration and under-achievement’ realising ‘excellence especially for disadvantaged pupils’ based on 2013 results. Accordingly, as a member of London Schools’ Gold Club 2014, Rosedale has been invited again to share its good practice with other schools in 2015 through attendance at various seminars and forthcoming events.
Both Rosedale and Hewens College have been recognised by The Schools Network for outstanding improvement in respect of Key Stage 4 results during the period 2008-2014. Notification has recently been received that both Rosedale and Hewens College have again secured a SSAT Educational Outcomes Award ‘for outstanding progress, being in the top 20% of schools nationally for value-added’, calculated using DfE performance and contextual data together with Ofsted gradings.
